JAPAN PART 1 (TOKYO)

Just a very short excerpt while I sit in 10 Degrees Cafe situated at Takadanobaba District of Tokyo.

WHY JAPAN?

Japan is a beautiful country native to a population of 126.8 million people. The country holds the tenth highest populous on the planet. Boasting all cultures within the country and a busy hub known famously around the world, Tokyo.

Some fun and traveler go to facts for you, do not go to Tokyo in the summer with ANY other clothing that is intended for heavy humidity and deathly sunlight. It is not meant for those who do not tolerate high temperatures with high humidity. With that being said I am currently here on vacation/research-based purposes to learn about the urban space and development of Japan. A true spectacle that unfolds for me as each of the 12 days I am scheduled to stay here pass me by.

FOOD

Let's begin with the most frequently asked question, what food places are there to eat? Ok, this may not be the most frequently asked but it is definitely the most sought out practice when traveling abroad. Good food is the key to any tourist destination.

In Tokyo, great food is around every corner, if you are looking to find good Japanese food on a tight budget there will be a 7/11 store right around the corner or a “Lawson Station” store right around the corner that hosts a variety of freshly frozen food in open freezers ready to go and of course healthy options within this exist. I personally am a fan of seafood platters of any kind and they have served my nutrition well.

TRAVEL

I am currently situated in japan next to the Bakurayokohama Station in that big map route.

As far as traveling by local transit goes, the Tokyo subway format is super connected and well laid out. The subway lines go far North and even Far South and they hit all corners of Tokyo. This is amazing because I am personally staying at the Nihombashi District of Tokyo at the CITAN hostel. An amazing spot for those looking for interconnectivity to the city. Almost every temple, tower, mall, sightseeing attraction is close by within half-hour proximity to Nihombashi.
